Kaydence McKinney

Kaydence McKinney grew up here in Sanpete county! She has always had animals around the house for as long as she can remember, including a couple dogs and horses. Her brother started rodeoing when she was about 5 years old, and everything he did she thought she had to do. Since that time in her life, she found something she knew she was going to love and be passionate about.

In the years past, Kaydence has consistently been involved in the NLBRA and the UHSSRA until she graduated in 2022.

Growing up, her weekends consisted of only rodeo and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Now she is training her own breakaway horse to continue to rodeo.

When she has extra time on her hands she helps her boyfriend with his cows and his family with their sheep. Her favorite things to do are rope, hunt, fish, rodeo, brand calves, and go to the gym.

Ever since she was little she knew she wanted a career where she got to be around animals and help them so she is excited to do just that here at Mt. Pleasant Animal Hospital.
